This beautiful old watchtower has been restored to its former splendor after lengthy and exacting renovation work. Whilst maintaining its original charm, the structure has been transformed into a modern and welcoming residence fitted with all mod cons and designed to offer the maximum levels of relaxation and comfort.

The house is situated on one of the highest hills around Scicli. Thanks to its dominant position, the terraces offer splendid views that stretch from the surrounding countryside filled with olive and carob trees, to the sea. The interior ambients are perfectly laid out and well equipped, with air conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi Internet connection.
The main structure is distributed over three floors; in the front part there is a pool 10x5,5 m and a beautiful courtyard where it is possible to organize al fresco lunches and suppers. The annex also has a furnished outdoor area and is distributed over two floors, at guests' disposal a second swimming pool 10x5.5 m.

We are in the Sicilian Baroque area of which Scicli is one of the most important examples along with the cities of Noto, Modica and Ragusa Ibla that can be easily reached by car in around 20/30 minutes. Scicli is a tiny pearl set between the sea and the Hyblaean Mountains.

The sea is very close by, the nearest beach, which is named after the ancient fishing village of Sampieri, is possibly the best in the area and is only 7 km away from the house (approximately a 10 minute drive). It has bathing resorts with good facilities and long stretches of public beach.

By walking along the shore from Plaja Grande (12 km), it is possible to visit the Irminio river nature reserve, one of the many areas of natural interest the region has to offer.
Thanks to its particular position and extremely favorable wind conditions, Modica beach is one of the most popular places for surfers and windsurfers.

Scicli is only 3 km away and has food shops, supermarkets, all types of stores and typical restaurants of an excellent standard where it is possible to sample traditional Sicilian dishes.
