Eleonora

Eleonora is located between the towns of Radda and Gaiole in Chianti, two famous centers of production from the history of Chianti Classico in Tuscany.  It is an historic villa which was once owned by the Florentine Strozzi family and subsequently by the Sonnino family. The splendid façade of the villa set on the natural stage of the Chianti Classico hills that act like a backdrop make this a venue that is truly unique in the whole of Tuscany. The villa is suitable for ceremonies and weddings, just a few steps away there is a perfectly renovated 16th century Chapel where it is possible to celebrate religious marriages. The property is surrounded by 110 hectares of land around 12 hectares of which are vineyards and the rest is olive-groves, woods and pasture land. The wealth of the details and the antique furnishings inside the villa make it possible to savor the prestige of its history whilst at the same time experience the sensation of living in your own home. In the park there is a 14 x 6 m private swimming pool with stunning views of the Chianti countryside and a tennis court. The villa has Wi-Fi internet connection.  Breakfast is included in the price as well as a daily cleaning service; it is also possible to book a chef to prepare lunch or dinner throughout your stay. The closest town is Radda in Chianti - 4.5 Km, Gaiole in Chianti, which is the starting point for the Castles of Chianti road, is 7 Km away.

GROUND FLOOR: entrance; two dining rooms, one with a fireplace; spacious living-room; kitchen with oven and dishwasher; downstairs bathroom; laundry room. FIRST FLOOR: two spacious living-rooms, one has a fireplace and the other leads to the terrace with a view of the vineyards and the villages of Volpaia and Radda in Chianti. The bedrooms are placed along the corridors, respectively on the right and on the left of the living-rooms. On the right-hand side: 1 single bedroom with en suite bathroom and shower; 3 double bedrooms with en suite bathroom containing bathtub and use of shower. On the left-hand side: 2 double bedrooms, one has en suite bathroom with bathtub and use of shower and the other has en suite bathroom with shower; 1 suite with double bedroom that is connected to a single bedroom, en suite bathroom with bathtub and use of shower.
