Alice

Alice is a beautiful farmhouse located in a panoramic position on the Chianti Classico hills. It appears that the first building dates back to the XII century and was a monastery which was later turned into an aristocratic Florentine residence. The house has been divided into two large units, each of which has independent entrances and outdoor areas. The portion of the house we are offering has in turn been divided into two apartments on the first and second floor that are rented together, and an annex. This solution offers 2 families or a group of friends the chance to enjoy a high level of comfort and privacy whilst also experiencing a holiday together in a large Tuscan farmhouse. To the right of the entrance there is a large Tuscan terracotta terrace with gazebo, table and chairs. At the back there are other areas with a large gazebo as well as table and chairs for enjoying unforgettable outdoor meals. The garden slopes gently down to a beautiful swimming pool (5 X 10 m). Beyond the hedge that borders the swimming pool is the garden and swimming pool belonging to the adjacent portion of the property. The windows have mosquito screens. Private 4 space car park with shade. Barbecue. There are food stores in Bargino which is 4 Km away. San Casciano Val di Pesa (10 Km) has all kinds of stores. Florence (25 Km) is a 20 minute drive away, San Gimignano (30 km) and Siena (50 km). In the event that the house is booked in the version for 14 people the annex, which has a separate entrance and no internal connection with the rest of the home, it may be used occasionally by the owners

Apartment 1 GROUND FLOOR: large living room with fireplace and satellite TV, dining area with table seating 12 to which more tables can be added in order to seat up to 16; kitchen area with oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer; 1 twin bedroom with bathroom and bathtub, shower and washing machine; 2 small twin bedrooms, suitable for children, that share a bathroom with shower; 1 large double bedroom with bathroom and bathtub and air conditioning. The living room leads directly to the furnished outdoor area which has a large gazebo with table for outdoor eating. Apartment 2 FIRST FLOOR: large living room with satellite TV and fireplace, dining area with table seating 6, adjoining kitchen with fireplace, dishwasher and freezer, furnished more simply than the ground floor apartment. 3 twin bedrooms with bathroom and shower. Annex GROUND FLOOR: the annex is accessed directly from the garden and consists of a living room with TV and adjoining kitchen/dining room with oven, dishwasher and freezer; 1 twin bedroom with bathroom and shower, air conditioning; 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower.
