The Chianti region is made up of gentle valleys and picturesque villages that will capture your imagination, offering breathtaking natural and architectural landscapes and giving you a taste of the warm Tuscan welcome for which this area is so famous.  San Donato in Poggio is undoubtedly one of these wonderful places filled with surprises that has preserved a lot of its medieval and traditional local architecture. Diego is 1 Km away from San Donato in Poggio, in a panoramic position with extensive views of the Chianti countryside.  The building consists of the main house and three independent annexes grouped around the typical farmyard where in times past the peasants used to gather together in the summer to tell stories. The main house is distributed over two floors.  On the ground floor there is a professional kitchen with oven, microwave, professional dishwasher, espresso and American coffee machine, kettle and toaster and the dining room.  Next to the kitchen is an outdoor dining area with barbecue. The first floor is reached via a staircase from the dining room or an external staircase. The Casolare has heating, air conditioning in all the rooms, partly by means of a floor cooling system, WI-FI internet connection, satellite TV, CD and DVD player. The large outdoor area has numerous corners for relaxing and a 13 x 5 m swimming pool in a panoramic position overlooking the countryside. Immediately after the entrance gate, on the right, there is a building which is not part of the property but does not compromise the privacy since it is far away from Diego its private outdoor areas.   This is the ideal place to enjoy a vacation surrounded by nature which is also close to the cities of art, Florence 36 KM., Siena 50. This is one of the most beautiful and fascinating localities of the Tuscan winemaking region and the Chianti culinary tradition.
