Sabrina
Situated in the heart of Umbria, the town Todi boasts ancient origins: the legend says that it was founded 4000 years ago and each generation has contributed over the years to enriching its urban fabric with structures and buildings, which with great skill have created this wonderful complex of rural harmony and unaltered beauty. A place where, for the perfection of its shapes and for the splendour of its gentle and dream-like countryside, you get the impression that time has gone by more slowly, also thanks to the warm, cosy atmosphere that it offers and, for good reason, it is considered one of the most fascinating places in the world, a desirable destination for the most demanding traveller. The Sabrina is situated only 8 km from the centre of town, on the top of hill that offers one of the most spectacular views of the skyline of Todi and its medieval buildings, including the church of Santa Maria della Consolazione, one of the most beautiful of the Italian Renaissance. It's a typical stone-built farmhouse of the area, which recent and attentive restoration work has transformed into a prestigious, cosy residence equipped with all the comforts. The interiors have been furnished with taste and elegance and they create the warm and inviting atmosphere typical of country manor houses, with large fireplaces in the living room areas and bathrooms decorated with ancient tiles; the services include telephone/fax, an intercom system throughout the house and wireless Internet. Outside is a park with fruit and olive trees and a garden created with great passion by the owner, full of flowers, ornamental plants and Mediterranean essences, with 3 lawns that will let you eat and relax outdoors while enjoying the enchanting panorama and an equipped pergola with a dining table that seats 20-30 people. Next to the large panoramic pool (14x7m) is a gazebo equipped with armchairs, sofas and tables with a splendid 360° view, a changing room with shower and an outdoor kitchen with barbecue. The caretakers live in a separated cottage inside the property. They tend to the daily cleaning of the house (and on request also cooking service) as well as tending to the garden and the swimming pool. Only 2 km is a small hamlet where you can purchase grocery items.GROUND FLOOR: large double living-room with fireplace, dining-room with fireplace, kitchen with large table for eating (oven, dishwasher, microwave), 1 twin bedroom (beds can be put together) with private bathroom with shower (with private access to the garden), study with queen-size sofa bed and private bathroom with shower (all the rooms on the ground floor have access to the garden and to the veranda equipped for outdoor dining, laundry room (washing machine and dryer).
